My mom and I had a tight-knit relationship. I know a lot of people can say that about their moms, but ours was bonded by trauma so thick.

I am making this film because I want people to understand that South Asian families also struggle with depression, caregiving and more.

Our conversation will focus on mental health in the South Asian community, and separately, the challenges of caregiving.
